Overview

In this pivotal role, you'll be responsible for ensuring the quality and functionality of our innovative software solutions. Collaborating closely with our development team, you'll design and execute test plans, identify bugs, and contribute to the continuous improvement of our products. Responsibilities
**Key Responsibilities:** - Design and execute comprehensive test plans to ensure software functionality and performance. - Collaborate closely with developers and product managers to understand project requirements and specifications. - Identify, document, and track software defects, ensuring timely resolution and effective communication with the team. - Perform regression testing to validate that new features do not adversely affect existing functionality. - Conduct usability testing to enhance the overall user experience of our applications. - Analyse test results and provide detailed feedback to improve product quality and reliability. - Develop and maintain automated test scripts to increase testing efficiency and coverage. - Participate in Agile ceremonies, contributing to sprint planning and retrospective meetings. - Stay updated on industry trends and emerging testing tools to continuously enhance testing practices. - Contribute to a positive team culture by sharing knowledge and best practices within the QA team. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on project timelines and deliverables. - Assist in the development of testing documentation and training materials for new team members.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in software testing, including functional, regression, and performance testing. - Strong understanding of testing methodologies and tools, such as Selenium or JIRA. - Familiarity with Agile development practices and participation in Scrum teams. - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail. - Relevant qualifications in Computer Science or Software Engineering, or equivalent experience. - Ability to effectively communicate findings and collaborate with developers and other stakeholders. - Knowledge of scripting languages for automated testing is highly desirable. - Understanding of QA best practices and commitment to continuous improvement. - Eligibility to work in Australia without restrictions; sponsorship may be available for the right candidate.
