Responsibilities

- Oversee daily factory operations to ensure production goals are met efficiently and safely. - Manage and lead a diverse team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork. - Develop and implement production schedules, ensuring optimal resource allocation and workflow. - Monitor quality control processes to maintain high standards of product integrity and compliance. - Conduct regular safety audits and training sessions to uphold workplace health and safety regulations. - Collaborate with procurement to manage inventory levels and streamline supply chain processes. - Analyse production data and key performance indicators to identify improvement opportunities. - Maintain equipment and facility to ensure operational efficiency and minimise downtime. - Develop and manage budgets, controlling costs while maximising productivity. - Liaise with clients and stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns. - Implement continuous improvement initiatives, promoting innovation and best practices within the factory. - Ensure compliance with environmental regulations and sustainability practices in manufacturing processes. - Prepare regular reports for senior management on production performance and key metrics.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in a factory management role, preferably within the construction or concrete industry. - Strong understanding of production processes, quality control, and safety regulations. - Relevant qualifications in manufacturing, engineering, or industrial management. - Excellent leadership skills with a track record of managing diverse teams effectively. - Demonstrated ability to develop and implement operational strategies to enhance productivity. - Proficient in budget management and cost control measures. - Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with clients and stakeholders. - Familiarity with ANZSCO requirements for factory managers and compliance with Australian workplace regulations. - Commitment to fostering a positive workplace culture and continuous improvement.
