Responsibilities

- Operate and maintain projection equipment to ensure a high-quality viewing experience for all guests. - Set up and adjust projectors and sound systems to meet specific film requirements and technical standards. - Conduct regular inspections and troubleshooting of equipment to prevent technical issues during screenings. - Collaborate with the cinema team to prepare for movie launches, including testing equipment and ensuring compliance with safety protocols. - Monitor film quality and sound levels throughout screenings, making adjustments as necessary to enhance viewer enjoyment. - Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations in the projection room. - Coordinate with management to schedule maintenance and repairs of projection equipment as needed. - Assist in training new staff on projection operations and safety procedures. - Maintain accurate records of film screenings and equipment usage for reporting purposes. - Provide exceptional customer service by addressing any guest inquiries or concerns related to the projection experience. - Stay updated on the latest projection technologies and techniques to continuously improve service delivery. - Uphold Cinepolis Movies’ commitment to creating an enjoyable and memorable cinema

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a projector operator or in a similar role within the cinema industry. - Familiarity with digital projection systems and sound equipment. - Strong technical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot equipment issues swiftly. - Excellent attention to detail and a passion for delivering high-quality cinematic experiences. - Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and management. - Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required. - Certificate III in Screen and Media or equivalent qualification preferred. - Must hold a valid Australian work visa. - Commitment to maintaining a safe and clean working environment.
